    As a consequence of delay in America’s Cup organization, Team New Zealand has decided to focus its activity in the design of a TP52 boat for the next (2009) championship; the project will involve part of the America’s Cup design team as well as part of the crew members. Porto Ricerca will be responsible for CFD analysis and design.

    Porto Ricerca engineers start working in Emirates Team New Zealand, final challenger in 32nd America’s Cup and now challenger in the next Cup. The activity will take place in Auckland, at TNZ base, and will concern the design of the boats and sails for the next edition of the most important trophy in the world of sailing.

Porto Ricerca will collaborate with Botin-Carkeek Design Office (Santander, Spain) to prepare the boat for Puma Racing Team.
